About Us

Wawcare Support Ltd is a semi-independent supported living accommodation for young people aged between 16 – 25, who are preparing to live independently in their own living spaces. We provide a culturally sensitive environment that supports the young person to embrace their identities and feel comfortable in addressing any issues they may have based on their needs.

Home Care Services

At Wawcare Support Complex Care, we provide nurse-managed home care to people of all ages with physical, psychological, neurological and neuromuscular conditions.

We work with clients, their families and healthcare professionals to deliver truly personalised care. This enhances our client’s independence, social involvement, wellbeing, and quality of life.

We recognise that some of our service users may greatly value support with “moving on” skills and with this in mind we provide the following:

  • Safe surroundings for the service users to learn practical daily living skills such as budgeting, preparing and cooking meals, laundering and cleaning their living space as a part of the preparation for them to live independently.
  • Assisting with enrolling into further education, apprenticeship or training programmes, in line with their career aspirations.
  • Supporting the young person to foster their social skills to enable them to participate and contribute within the community and society in a positive way.
  • Providing discussion forums which will allow the young person to enhance their interpersonal and communication skills to the degree that they are able to identify what healthy friendships and relationships look like.
  • Support the young person manage their finances in a practical way.
